With this being the Institute’s first annual report, we wanted to review some of the 40-year history and the reason it was first founded by Nobel laureate, Dr. Jonas Salk. Profiles of the “cross fertilization” of research provides scientific results that the sum is greater than its individual parts, advocating a fraternal group of scientist that share in their discoveries.
