CITY OF NATIONAL CITY
In 2007 Blik was contracted to create the city’s identity and brand promotional platform that targets 3 distinct groups – new business development, residents, and visitors. The city’s new identity pays homage to an 1845 map of the original land grant, “Rancho de la Nacion.” Brand assets involved website mastheads, billboards, bus stop shelter advertising, citywide banner system, newsletters and business introduction kits. In 2014, Blik designed and developed a citywide wayfinding system, District identification, a new banner system, and interpretive nature panels.
